Computational Hematology is a research group led by Priv.-Doz. Dr. med. Dr. phil. Amin Turki at the Institute for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (IKIM), University Hospital Essen / University of Duisburg-Essen.
He is also deputy-head of the Department of Hematology and Oncology at Marienhospital University Hospital Bochum.
The group works on leukemia classification, transplant complications, and clinical data science from routine care, with an emphasis on methods that can be inspected — including a public aGVHD grading calculator.
